Earlier this year we made the hard decision to shut down the Mozilla.social instance. Thank you all for being part of this community, and you can continue to follow Mozilla at Mastodon.social.  @mozilla This is good, but I feel like this shouldn't be a long term solution. Instead we should be pushing websites to serve alt text, especially since HTML already has support for it.  @mozilla This a good and well done use of AI. It may be particularly useful for posting images on mastodon and fediverse in general. @mozilla Very disappointed, I can understand you need to reduce the cost of operation, but I'm sure it was possible to cut something else.
