@error420 Hosting a social network is expensive and currently Mozilla doesn't get much money, especially considering soon they'll lose one of their main sources of income, Google, due to the recent Google's anti-trust.

@mozilla I applied to your Mozilla social before, but I didn’t get selected. In the end, I decided to host it myself.

I’m a bit sad to hear that you’re discontinuing the service, but I understand that it’s your decision.

On the other hand, I hope you’ll continue to be part of the ActivityPub standard federation. That way, people in ActivityPub can still get information from you directly, and you can still interact with them.
