holy shit. they actually called it "reply guy". seeing the Torment Nexus and copying it for profit is one thing, but seeing a reply guy and being like "I can monetize that" is a whole new type of evil.

Just a heads up, if you have a following on social media and are thinking about posting about that pink movie or others, SAG-AFTRA states: "Influencers should refrain from posting on social media about any struck work regardless of whether they are posting organically or in a paid capacity." You may not consider yourself an influencer, but maybe consider the spirit of their request.

@rose I’m confused about the meaning of “struck work” (and my websearching isn’t helping?). I thought it meant “job functions whose performers are in strike,” but this toot sounds like you’re saying that-movie is “struck work”? @rose for those of us who aren't as familiar with the terminology, is paying to view a "struck work" considered crossing a picket line? Or is the limitation on supporting it via buzz/influence/etc.?

Been using this since this morning and it does what it says on the tin. If you click a link that goes to a reddit thread you get the wayback page. Super helpful to find information I need when searching, but gives no traffic to reddit. So, as communities relocate the historical knowledge will still be accessible. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/reddit-to-wayback-machine/ |
