@MiriShuli @chu @Ulzana @Niall did you miss the actual things that are being done that the other commenter posted or are you being willfully ignorant? @MeeMee @MiriShuli @chu @Niall It seems to me that the only one who is being "willfully Ignorant' is you. You seem to believe that Humanity can wait twenty five or thirty years before we worry about this Climate Hoax. Sorry, I think the "handwriting is on the wall." @chu @MiriShuli @Niall @Ulzana you seem to think that small steps to address the issue are a waste of time and that, “let’s DEMAND” it now is some kind of solution. How does that work exactly? Still haven’t answered my question. @MeeMee @chu @MiriShuli @Niall @Ulzana Ah, I first remember hearing about small steps in the Nixon administration! And I've heard it every year since. We needed to take small steps 50 years ago. Now we need to decarbonize by 90% in a decade to avoid catastrophe. Small steps are worse than useless because they convince people that something is being done when it is not. @TomSwirly @MeeMee @chu @MiriShuli @Niall I think DSJezebell HATES Facts. Have you no shame, using FACTS? @TomSwirly @MeeMee @chu @MiriShuli @Niall @Ulzana Yeah, this. Tom and I disagree over some things, but I wholeheartedly agree on this point. If we want to make only small changes, we have to start in good time. We failed to do so in this case, because back when it wasn't too late, people thought there was no need to make changes at all. As it stands, our options are drastic immediate changes or extinction. Saying "drastic changes but not yet" or "small changes only" is simply denial. @chu @MiriShuli @passenger @Niall @Ulzana @TomSwirly then what do you propose? @MeeMee @MiriShuli @chu @Ulzana @Niall None of these things is even 1% adequate to the massive, existential problem facing the world. It is like using a teaspoon to put out a forest fire. We need to decrease our carbon dioxide output by 90% over a decade. But the current plans will have us producing about 10% more CO2 in a decade. @TomSwirly @MeeMee @MiriShuli @chu @Niall This doesn't seem to disturb the members of the Biden Cult, BECAUSE good old Joe Makes a Lot of "Noise" about Climate change, while actually doing almost nothing @Ulzana @MiriShuli @Niall @TomSwirly @chu electing members of the GOP doesn’t seem to bother the “burn it all down” cultists. If you aren’t voting for Dems then you aren’t doing a damned thing to move us forward. Splitting the ticket for pie in the sky is just stupid. Ignoring that is self destructive. Small steps are all we can do. Again, if you have a better idea then state so. @MiriShuli @chu @Ulzana @Niall still haven’t answered my question. Speeches are great but how, specifically, will one of the democratic demands be met through legislation? What are THEIR plans to go about it? @MeeMee @MiriShuli @chu @Ulzana @Niall Repeating the phrase "still haven't answered my question" over and over is both disrespectful, and and content-free. Do better. @MiriShuli @chu @TomSwirly @Ulzana @Niall yet you have not put forth ANY real answer yet. You just keep repeating how bad it is. Do better. |
@MeeMee @MiriShuli @Niall @chu
Is Biden making speeches every week about the dangers of Climate Change?
65 percent of the American People WANT the government to ACT NOW.
BUT IF THERE ARE NO PROPOSALS, I GUESS IT DOESN'T MATTER.
Great Leaders after all shouldn't risk Corporate Profits.
