@healyn As far as I know, due to Covid all barber shops require appointments at the moment, and because they were only allowed to work again starting March 1, there is a lot of demand @healyn We've been living with a lot of restrictions and closed businesses for a long time, though still not as draconian as the UK where you can't even go for a walk @healyn A lot of the measures seem like the government flailing its arms around to make the impression of doing something Most importantly I think people would've tolerated a complete lockdown for 4 weeks to put a complete stop to the virus, but now that we've had these semi-measures for more than a year with little to show for it, people begin to stop caring @Gargron nobody knew how it spread at first, then it became some garbage "culture war" bullshit. seems like it's clear masks are make a huge difference, but this is something that largely spreads when people are indoors with each other, especially in places that don't have good ventilation systems @Gargron I've heard DIY is the way to go here :) For myself, can't be bothered, never had hair this long, might as well try the ponytail thingy. @Gargron i found this comb for self-haircut, when it arrives, I'll tell you if it's a scam or if it works as promised... I find not cutting my hair liberating - because one less thing to do on my todo list. 🤔 Uh, it's this bad in Germany? Over here everything is open since the middle of July... And even when barbershops were officially closed, I heard stories of people who desperately wanted a haircut and invited barbers to come over. @Gargron Barber shops are a great alternative. I had my hair cut on Thursday and did not need to wait more than a single day... |
