I use chrome maybe 60% and Firefox and opera otherwise, mostly for specific projects @dnsprincess@infosec.exchange @dnsprincess I can only choose one in this poll BUT I use two everyday, three or more on a bad day! @dnsprincess I like Vivaldi. Chromium based and twice as fast as google's spyware. Brave would be a second choice. @dnsprincess I use Firefox for my work computer/on Windows and safari on Mac so it syncs with my phone, plus iCloud syncing on Windows to sync my bookmarks between all my personal devices @dnsprincess if anybody would like to try π¦ #Arc let me know. Still got 4 invites left for this month. by choice? firefox. by necessity, brave, then chrome, then safari as i discover what broken web site didn't do browser compatibility testing... @dnsprincess Firefox on both my devices (Linux laptop and android phone)
@dnsprincess I use Edge for work, Firefox for private browsing and Chrome for debugging. @dnsprincess I use Firefox on mobile and on my computer for work, and GNOME Web for everything else. @dnsprincess This is a fairly large poll response and I've often wondered how much #Firefox gets penalized from "market share" stuff because of how many users enable the privacy stuff (+PrivacyBadger, etc.) blocking tracking and analytics and how many Chromium-based browsers end up over-representing Chrome's share. @dnsprincess @dnsprincess Firefox for 99% of the time, but it's heavily locked down with NoScript, ABP, MalwareBytes, etc & there's times I need to use Chrome to log into some sites, e.g. MotoGP.com, that won't play nice in FF. I also use FF, Chrome & Edge for website testing. Interesting to see the voting so strongly favouring FF when we're constantly told Chrome dominates. @dnsprincess @dnsprincess interesting! definitely says something about the community here that there are so many FF users. quite different to mass user stats. @dnsprincess Firefox ESR (via Debian), but I'd probably have switched to GNOME Web (aka Epiphany) by now if Encrypted Media Extensions didn't exist. @dnsprincess I use Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on desktop and Safari on mobile. @dnsprincess Iβve been using brave for a few years, which is great. Ideally Iβd use Firefox but when I try and switch it doesnβt stick, there is always a quirk I canβt get over. π΅βπ« @dnsprincess @dnsprincess I mainly use Firefox, but with the NoScript extension. Therefore, when I have to perform very specific and/or critical operations (such as connecting to governmental websites or buying online expensive goods), I switch to Chromium (not Chrome, I use Linux π ). @dnsprincess I use Samsung Internet on my phone, Chrome on desktop. Will be switching to Firefox soon though π«‘ @codeman @dnsprincess sure, as soon as I do test it. Hope I have some time for that π¬ @rnbastos @dnsprincess I have just one problem in Min. I can't sign in google account ))) he need for youtube. it`s all @codeman @dnsprincess hmmmmmmmm now that's what I call a powerful "anti-tracker solution".... @dnsprincess Waterfox! I chose Other but it looks like it voted for Firefox. Close enough. @dnsprincess polls donβt have multiple choice? I use chrome and FF on desktop and Safari on mobile. @dnsprincess On my laptop I'm mainly using LibreWolf (basically a Firefox-derivate with a focus on privacy etc.), on my work-pc I'd use it as well, but Windows doesn't like it for whatever reason. So it's a combination of Firefox and Brave on there @dnsprincess @kevingamin Iβve really gotten used to working with the tab groups in safari. @dnsprincess @dnsprincess I only switched to Brave from Firefox, because of my access to Napkin |
@dnsprincess Vivaldi
