@dnsprincess Vimb fanglingsu.github.io/vimb/ and brave for having a chrome but looking for better

Jonathan

@dnsprincess I use all of them except safari. Each one for different purposes.

Aatif

@dnsprincess is there a way to vote for multiple? I use chrome maybe 60% and Firefox and opera otherwise, mostly for specific projects

Creature Of The Hill :autism: :anartrans_symbol:

@dnsprincess@infosec.exchange
Tweaked ebuild of Firefox, with a custom addon collection to take care of auto deletion of cookies, ad blocking, scripting etc..

But also the Tor browser bundle.

Occasionally links.

Michael Z

@dnsprincess @belmikey I mean, at one time or other, seems like all of them.

Editor B

@dnsprincess I can only choose one in this poll BUT I use two everyday, three or more on a bad day!

sj

@dnsprincess i use both chrome and edge equally and simultaneously! both at work and at home.

@dnsprincess I like Vivaldi. Chromium based and twice as fast as google's spyware. Brave would be a second choice.

Lttngblt

@dnsprincess I use Firefox for my work computer/on Windows and safari on Mac so it syncs with my phone, plus iCloud syncing on Windows to sync my bookmarks between all my personal devices

Chris Rory

@dnsprincess Firefox mainly, followed by Brave occasionally and Safari if I have to

arkywarky

@dnsprincess I use a wierd betatester thingy arc.net

Steffen

@dnsprincess if anybody would like to try 🟦 #Arc let me know. Still got 4 invites left for this month.

Paul_IPv6

@dnsprincess

by choice? firefox.

by necessity, brave, then chrome, then safari as i discover what broken web site didn't do browser compatibility testing...

Luna Saphira Dragofelis 🐱
@dnsprincess Firefox on both my devices (Linux laptop and android phone)
JB.

@dnsprincess

Split between Firefox and Tor Browser currently

Mx. Alba :blobcatenby: :nd:

@dnsprincess I use Edge for work, Firefox for private browsing and Chrome for debugging.

kevin

@dnsprincess

Wish I could check off multiple options.

Ewan Donnachie

@dnsprincess
This is insanely atypical, but I like it...

Cassidy James Blaede

@dnsprincess I use Firefox on mobile and on my computer for work, and GNOME Web for everything else.

Scott Williams 🐧

@dnsprincess This is a fairly large poll response and I've often wondered how much #Firefox gets penalized from "market share" stuff because of how many users enable the privacy stuff (+PrivacyBadger, etc.) blocking tracking and analytics and how many Chromium-based browsers end up over-representing Chrome's share.

Pavel A. Samsonov

@dnsprincess Brave on mobile, Chrome at home, Firefox at work

@dnsprincess
Should we count the browsers we use at work to avoid the company imposed browser policies too?
I installed brave just to avoid the annoying company policy wich deletes any cookie on Firefox when you close the browser 😩

Neil Cameron

@dnsprincess Firefox for 99% of the time, but it's heavily locked down with NoScript, ABP, MalwareBytes, etc & there's times I need to use Chrome to log into some sites, e.g. MotoGP.com, that won't play nice in FF. I also use FF, Chrome & Edge for website testing.

Interesting to see the voting so strongly favouring FF when we're constantly told Chrome dominates.

Niavy :bearn: :verified:

@dnsprincess so much people using Firefox! Amazing, I'm really surprised!

unpetitindien

@dnsprincess
Pale Moon, librewolf, firefox, tor browser, qutebrowser, ungoogled chromium.

xor-g :amogus:

@dnsprincess
Librewolf. It's more private fork of firefox

Henry Cole

@dnsprincess interesting! definitely says something about the community here that there are so many FF users. quite different to mass user stats.

grillchen
@dnsprincess singular? i use firefox, chromium and qutebrowser
f00f/eris/continuum/etc

@dnsprincess Firefox ESR (via Debian), but I'd probably have switched to GNOME Web (aka Epiphany) by now if Encrypted Media Extensions didn't exist.

Kai

@dnsprincess firefox for the win babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

MeZ

@dnsprincess I started using Vivaldi recently. I’m a fan so far.

@990000@saturation.social

@dnsprincess I use Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on desktop and Safari on mobile.

Zackery Fretty 🚲

@dnsprincess I’ve been using brave for a few years, which is great. Ideally I’d use Firefox but when I try and switch it doesn’t stick, there is always a quirk I can’t get over. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

@dnsprincess
I voted for "other" because I use #DuckDuckGo on mobile most of the time. However sometimes I need to use Chrome on mobile when DDG isn't enough (eg. Chrome supports #U2F with NFC key, while DDG doesn't).
On my desktop I use #Firefox exclusively πŸ™‚

GillesCC

@dnsprincess I mainly use Firefox, but with the NoScript extension.

Therefore, when I have to perform very specific and/or critical operations (such as connecting to governmental websites or buying online expensive goods), I switch to Chromium (not Chrome, I use Linux πŸ˜‰ ).

De Visser

@dnsprincess Gebruik meerdere browsers, afhankelijk van doel.

Christian

@dnsprincess @nlowell Edge on home PC. Safari on mobile, work computer and iPad.

Just Passing By 🫑

@dnsprincess I use Samsung Internet on my phone, Chrome on desktop. Will be switching to Firefox soon though 🫑

Code Man

@dnsprincess I use Min, it's simple, minimalist and nimble

Code Man

@rnbastos @dnsprincess Will you share your impressions later? πŸ˜‰

Renato Nunes Bastos :verified:

@codeman @dnsprincess sure, as soon as I do test it. Hope I have some time for that 😬

Code Man

@rnbastos @dnsprincess I have just one problem in Min. I can't sign in google account ))) he need for youtube. it`s all

JJ

@dnsprincess My main is firefox, but i usually hop between librewolf and opera too

Ben Griffiths

@dnsprincess Waterfox! I chose Other but it looks like it voted for Firefox. Close enough.

Nitin Khanna

@dnsprincess polls don’t have multiple choice? I use chrome and FF on desktop and Safari on mobile.

BΓ©la

@dnsprincess On my laptop I'm mainly using LibreWolf (basically a Firefox-derivate with a focus on privacy etc.), on my work-pc I'd use it as well, but Windows doesn't like it for whatever reason. So it's a combination of Firefox and Brave on there

MastrWandrer

@dnsprincess @kevingamin I’ve really gotten used to working with the tab groups in safari.

Kevin Gamin

@dnsprincess I'm a Firefox guy for personal use, Chrome for work use.

morten7an

@dnsprincess
@vivaldibrowser where I can.
The long time browser for power-users. Vivaldi has continued what Opera started. (Opera was bought by the Chinese and lost its soul)

oldtowneast πŸ™ˆ πŸ™‰ πŸ™Š

@dnsprincess I only switched to Brave from Firefox, because of my access to Napkin
