 @pixelfed The 'media description' is a bit hidden away. It could be more on the in view as to incentivize the user to fill it out.  @ff0000 @pixelfed Change the string encoding of the "Create new" button for translation, because some languages need to say "Create post new" or "Post new create". Since there are only 3 types, just give us 3 strings to translate. Also, "commented on your" etc must be replaced by "%1s commented on your %2s" etc to fix the word order. @ff0000 @pixelfed Also, hard-coded number before array['common']['comments'] is a problem. Find a library to create correct plural forms - plural rules in natural languages are complex https://unicode-org.github.io/cldr-staging/charts/latest/supplemental/language_plural_rules.html Use a placeholder here too for positioning the number in the string.  @pixelfed adding comments under posts is really confusing. Sometimes I want to add new lines, but a combination SHIFT+ENTER doesn't work and instantly posts the part of my comment.  @pixelfed make metro the default everywhere is the most important thing to me. Multiple picture upload progress bar going crazy is also something not so nice  @piratenpanda @arek @pixelfed Can probably be combined with my thumbnail suggestion Ie. reorder by dragging and dropping the thumnails @pixelfed When composing new posts, make it easy to see what images you have already loaded, when you create a post containing multiple images. Perhaps use thumbnails of all images and make it possible to click on them to enlarge them, with the usual arrows to navigate betwen images and an X to close them and go back to tumbnails?  @pixelfed using a permanent username instead of a bunch of numbers. Yes, the username redirects to the web link with numbers but I prefer it being (& staying) a username instead.

@pixelfed I would very much like to be able to rearrange photos I’ve uploaded before posting. Currently to get the desired order I have to upload one at a time because if I upload a batch they are not in the desired order. Being able to rearrange would be a massive usage improvement for me. @pixelfed Larger thumbnails when entering descriptive text would be very helpful. And it would be helpful if the location autocompletions showed more info. For instance, try “Oxford” and see all the “Oxford, USA” entries. There’s no way to tell which is the one I want because the state is missing, so I omit it. I realize “state” is US-centric; I don’t know what terms the data set has available. (I don’t know where the location suggestions come from; is it possible to add/suggest new locations?) @pixelfed@mastodon.social Not hiding image alt text under advanced options? @pixelfed I would get rid off confusing duplications in user interface, such as this one

@pixelfed in the new ui whenever i open someone’s profile on mobile i have no follow button. either it’s me or that would be nice to have  |
@pixelfed this button goes to a small overview for New Post / New Story / New Collection, while the dropdown selection instantly goes to create story / create collection. This creates a bit of friction.
