@das_menschy @geerlingguy Or psyllium seed husks are probably best, if you’re looking to increase soluble dietary fiber.

So, basically Metamucil.

@geerlingguy /me is jealous

I want @BNetzA to make offering #FTTB / #FTTH access & setup mandatory just like #landline phone, electricity amd drinking water...

Instead they're about to shove money up #Starlink's backside and subsidize that shite when even a #BFWA-Link based of 802.11ax #WiFi would be fast enough and ROI within a year...

Instead I have a greedy #cable monopolist that raises prices, worsens SLA and refuses to follow their own contractual obligations!

@geerlingguy My main man Quaker Oats got me covered πŸ™

Fuchsiii~~~

@geerlingguy @kkarhan there is a 90% chance AT&T will say fiber is not available in your region, the easiest way I found is buying ground flaxseed from Amazon. They ship almost everywhere!

@geerlingguy This made me chuckle harder than it probably should've. Lol

@geerlingguy are you happy or in rsj mood about fiber otn; on a side note i think at&t has 5g fiber and google is going to 8g fiber in some rare places but i expect them to kill off that business as soon as it looks promising due to regulations and sentiment factors

@geerlingguy In my case: Claro and SabemΓ‘s. Take a guess of which one is the fiber-honey cracker

@geerlingguy I'm switching to AT&T fiber next week. I am leaving the one that rhymes with "inity" cos of a recent string of outages, multiple days, several weeks in a row.

Jeff Geerling

@sepi1enfwb it's been great coming from Spectrum, but the router they give is a little meh

Sepi Girardi

@geerlingguy I'll probably buy an wifi AP to stick in front of it. Do you happen to know of any good reviews for wifi equipment for this situation on youtube? Bet you might know.

Jeff Geerling

@sepi1enfwb I have an ASUS WiFi 6 router at home, and I set the AT&T modem in pass through mode for routing. I like Asus routers for the quality + decent UI

At work running a Netgear AP and OPNsense on a mini PC

@geerlingguy @sepi1enfwb the router will die in 13 months, so you’ve to buy a new one right after warranty expiry 🀭 (atleast that’s the way it was 15 years ago, not sure if things have changed)

Lol, that's a very interesting statement!

Steven Rosenberg

@geerlingguy I can't get AT&T fiber on my side of the street. But I can get kale at the market.
