  В принципе, интернет, где каждый регион держит свои сервисы с доступом для своих и геоблоком для всех остальных, тоже можно назвать децентрализованным. Однако о культурном обмене и сведении социальных мостов можно будет забыть.  @th3rdsergeevich это не про Россию, где «каждый регион» имел представительство в инстаграме и фейсбуке 🤦♂️ I have a feeling that Mastodon and most other projects grew complacent. Not much of new features being developed, and old, long requested ones (like groups or migrations/nomadic identities) are stuck in development hell. I miss big stuff happening in the Fediverse.

  @drq well mastodon != fediverse. Go for some instance with a different software, or at least a different client app. They usually provide more features. Buzz words maybe misskey, pleoroma, pixelfed, ...  To the fedi devs: please wake the F up, guys... The Fediverse is already great, sure, but it is still very much work in progress!!! @hal_pomeranz I also wonder whether they're monitoring external or internal.. stick an IDS outside the firewall and it'll go nuts. But that's like saying stand on a motorway and you'll get run over..
