 i’ve developed a solid election night plan: pancakes and a bourbon cocktail. i need the comfort of pancakes, but i feel like a mimosa would be too celebratory. so we’re going with a makers mark old fashioned. i think that’s the right level of “locked in, ready for extreme highs or extreme lows”   @samhenrigold love this idea, we'll do pancakes (and tiramisu and neat whiskey) too I think. We just put out a big update for the Mastodon Android app! A lot of this was based on feedback from Play Store reviews. Give it a shot, it's a really strong update.   @samhenrigold Sounds nice, might test, but I'm missing an important feature here: reverse timeline. That is, timeline in real chronological order.  @samhenrigold use Clean Up to remove those signs and any other potential identifying information or just let wolf 2 prevail 😂   @samhenrigold how about instead, you use Facebook to generate an image of an amazing view of the marathon  @samhenrigold I hate (A.I.?) suggested responses or reactions — ever since LinkedIn made this a normal practice, I've only used it by accident or when it was hilariously unfitting and both sides understood it wasn't really my response. alright i have a crackpot weekend mad science idea: iPhone OS 1.x development. If I can even get the toolchain working I’ll be happy.  Can't you use the official iOS 2.0 SDK for that? Or are there some changes to the linker/runtime/ABI that make it completely incompatible? I’m kicking around the idea of writing a blog post on this mode and how to smooth out some of the paper cuts that make these apps a pain to use. I get the whole point of this mode is “set it and forget it” but if a dev can spend ~a couple hours to make some changes to make it decent, I don't think that's asking for too much. The big one are gesture recognizers that assume multitouch capability and missing keyboard shortcuts.
