The one about Dynamic Island from last year was insanely great. the tools don't make the artist, that's true. but they will make the artist happier, and I was happier in 2013. I am proud to announce I will be throwing out my laptop and buying an original retina MBP and using Fireworks CS6 exclusively from now on. 
Oh I used one of those until late 2021, by which point it became the MacBook of Theseus.  @samhenrigold dang I always wondered too. I kinda just imagined Bitrex. For some weird reason I once had nail polish remover that had that added. It liked to linger on my fingertips and yeah uh, yuck.  💖 Some personal news: I’ve always wanted to own my own home, but could never afford it. Well, today, I’m proud to say that… I bought my first pair of jorts. They’re distressed and has a mini pocket on the butt pocket as well as the regular front pocket. Makes me feel like a Y2K girlie pop at a hoedown. I’ll let you know when I can afford to be a homeowner in 50, 60 years from now. coming to the bleak realization that a lot of my life will be spent waiting for figma library changes to publish normally I'm against generative AI art for a whole host of reasons, but when its parodying an already vapid genre, I think it's kinda iconic??? like I have no issue with this eating away at Morgan Wallen's dominance in the bro country music genre (this is the first and last time I will praise generative artwork okay thank you I've said my piece)

Little BTS video from the Archive: At WWDC 2010, they had a visualization showing the activity of the 50K most popular App Store apps. As apps are downloaded, their data is coalesced via an XML feed every five minutes. That data is then passed to an OpenCL kernel, which drives the animation and drops the icon into a column in the grid based on icon color. Quartz Composer renders the final synchronized output. the new versatile material design is ok I guess
@samhenrigold I left Android after Holo and I am glad I did. I mostly left for the obscene privacy issues and security holes... but avoiding being assailed by Material was a nice perk.
