Voting ended 1 Nov 2023 at 10:01. i really love the idea of glitch and codepen. but the cruft you have to sift through in the dev tools until you get to your actual content makes it really tricky to prefer it over just making a new local project.   step 1. put on the band camino’s rehearsal takes playlist. there is no step 3. i just want an episode of Grand Design that pulls out all the stops:  Matter/Home Key smart locks: are any of them good yet or should i just get a regular lock? (i’m not counting “Matter support promised” because I have been burned too many times for their promises to mean anything) @samhenrigold smart locks are one area i am absolutely avoiding primarily because smart stuff never works flawlessly all of the time and also just the potential risks security wise 😬 @samhenrigold I enjoy the convenience and look of the Level locks that I have, but if your front door has sporadic internet/homepod coverage then you can lose features at random times. it has been consistent enough for me to leave the house without my physical key many times, and I am honestly not concerned about their security more than a regular lock because they’re easily pickable anyway. also they’re way too expensive  @samhenrigold The Schlege one (the first lock to support Home Key) works really well. I’ve been using it for over a year now. Hot take but I think Black Rock should own more shit. I think that would be silly goofy fun

Outboard camera on the seat display, movie on the iPad. That's how custom demands it. @samhenrigold I mean, they’re fucking awful… but I can remember the days before each seat had a screen and you would have to look up at the shared monitors and hope you had a decent view of the tiny screen (or could even see over your seat!) |
