Could you confirm/deny the battery time could last 3+ hours at least, please. That could make or break the decision of some (me included) as sometimes planes don't have available outlets in 3+ hours flights. If yes, I think you just showed me my new toy. @gamingonlinux This should restrict companies like Ubuntu or Red Hat from making it available in their repos, AFAIK. Bummer. @gamingonlinux I think it's kinda understandable when your free software, is being used for cheap retro devices for a quick buck. Still wish there was a better way to handle this. @gamingonlinux Dick move but its kinda understandable given that RetroArch essentially distributes his work w/o forking or contributing. I suspect that it will be new API that security vendors like CrowdStrike will be encouraged heavily to use, but MS will likely need to maintain the way things are for some time. I don't expect Easy AntiCheat and similar "antipiracy" / "DRM" software to take advantage of it unless the end up causing a similarly publicized BSOD. @gamingonlinux I think MS has no intentions to change the way things are but are forced to put an act due to the crowdstrike incident, they will do a few PR stunts and everything will stay as it was, after all it wasn't that bad, the crowdstrike team just fucked up bad by not really testing things... @gamingonlinux Thanks for this, I read the Micro$oft blog post last night and I was confused why this was being celebrated as a Linux win at all. The purposed plans are interesting in the context of security software. Have a Raspberry Pi?
