@gamingonlinux they offer this to their more recent games now, instead of doing before. They know that the shutdown of the first The Crew game was a PR nightmare for them. They should also reverse course on taking the game from people's libraries and update the game one more time to also add this offline play feature in.
@gamingonlinux I always wanted to play this, but because it was online only on a game that did not need to be I never did. I also don't like buying a game that die off soon after then can't even have fun because it's online only and unplayable.
I love that they went to the effort of binding this so nicely. Clever, not only does it legitimize it in Valve's eyes, but also makes a nice image for any media who are sharing the story
