@gamingonlinux And how many of those are new to gaming linux? Half? More? The real story here is that the Steamdeck is making it popular to play Windows games on "not Windows". I blinked and apparently hit over 46K followers. Thanks for coming along nerds. ๐ ๐ Now if I could direct your attention here pappa needs a pizza: https://www.patreon.com/liamdawe @gamingonlinux I'm not using linux but I discovered way more hidden gems from you than any other sources. @gamingonlinux Any word on why anti-cheat software isn't adapting to support Linux in light of such strong adoption of the Steamdeck? @gamingonlinux I tried the game 2 weeks ago, when I saw the announcement regarding the anti-cheats, I asked for a refund. I enjoyed it, but I'm not going to give money to a company disregarding the Linux player base @gamingonlinux The Anti-vheat isn't "concerning". The Anti cheat is useless. "I am following this account for news about, well, gaming on Linux. I'd appreciate it if you could stick to the content I, and I expect most others, are following this account for." If this is you. Don't follow me. And anyone sending me that shit will be blocked. I am an actual person, not a robot, thanks.

@gamingonlinux oh, but you donโt understand. My timeline is pristine, and you alone are making me scroll past content that I donโt want, and scrolling is so hard. And you must understand that now I have to write you a strongly worded response, which is an even bigger waste of my precious time. Obviously, you are the problem /s @gamingonlinux A bit of tongue and cheek is awesome but it gets a bit tiring when you go on and on about it. It's truly hilarious to me that some people are really getting butthurt over my shit-posting on Twitter about the rate limits. Telling me here I'm a "jerk" for joking about it in tweets. Get a sense of humour jeez.

@gamingonlinux Hope you enjoy how much I am apparently pissing people off on Twitter about the rate limits. ๐

@gamingonlinux "pissing people off on Twitter" To be fair, even the most benign takes tend to piss people off on Twitter. Contrarianism is the name of the game there. Welcome to Mastodon. I thought so much of Mastodon, that I elected to establish my account here, in the Fediverse, so thoughtfully provided by our benefactors. I am proud to call Mastodon my home.
