@gamingonlinux Dordogne with my 7 year old. More of a French visual novel than a game though. @gamingonlinux got the vampire survivor itch again so put it back on steam deck and bought the DLC. Excited to try them @gamingonlinux Been playing a lot of Ghostrunner, been a lot more fun than I thought it'd be. I'm not usually into extremely difficult games but something about GR just feels right @gamingonlinux hollow knight, then before that Hades. Both are hard but not in a bad way. @gamingonlinux Risk of Rain 2, which is excellent, and Lara Croft GO, which is better than expected but the controls... One can get used to them, I swear, It'll just take a while. @gamingonlinux I finished Spiritfarer somewhat recently. Absolutely beautiful game, made me cry several times, love it. @gamingonlinux Finally getting around to Prey, after picking it up for £6. Deck verified too. It feels like Bioshock or System Shock, which is no bad thing. @gamingonlinux Chained Echoes. It is so good, it made me realise how badly I needed a good RPG in my life. @gamingonlinux Currently playing through Infra, absolutely lovely game. Also Hollow Knight on my Deck @gamingonlinux Dark souls remastered, mostly on the steam deck. I am about 3/4 through and it has been a blast. Looking forward to playing the rest of From Software’s games! The “Four” Kings are an abomination though. 🪦 @gamingonlinux Right now I'm re-playing Cyberpunk 2077. They really kept at it with the patches and brought it back! @gamingonlinux been playing tons of Project Zomboid lately, which is supported natively on Linux @gamingonlinux @gamingonlinux I'm replaying the Assassin's Creed series; just finished 1 and started 2 and hell yeah it's good. AC2 remains excellent. @gamingonlinux @gamingonlinux final fantasy 13, loads like crap unless you use proton 7.0-6 because of some memory leak. Just used up all of the ram and would hang on loading. Played 12 (My favorite) and 14 online (very good) so hoping 13 is enjoyable at least. @gamingonlinux bunch of stuff: -Moonglow Bay ...and a few more. @gamingonlinux I've been jumping between several: - Dark Souls 3 (Steam/Proton) Really enjoying all of them, and continually thankful that gaming on Linux "just works" these days. @gamingonlinux just got halls of torment it’s great - vampire survivors and Diablo had a freaky demon baby @gamingonlinux I intend to start making a small dent in my backlog soon...#SteamDeck ordered 2 days ago! #hype @gamingonlinux Beton Brutal: Parkour up the inside of an overgrown brutalist tower. One person indie game. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2330500/BETON_BRUTAL/ @gamingonlinux I'm trying to replay BlazBlue games, but video issues are an obstacle, especially since the story mode for some of the games have something like 20 videos. And no, workarounds like mf-install, GE-Proton, converting videos, etc... don't help. 😔 @gamingonlinux Cassette beasts! Was big into Pokemon a few years ago and it has been super nice @gamingonlinux Playing some Hollow Knight...added a few mods and enjoying every second of it. Of course, not really in the "new" category, but definitely in the "awesome" category. @gamingonlinux The three I've been playing: Slayers X is an amazing boomer shooter that I love everything about. It's very cheesy and funny and the action feels good and fast. Everhood is a really unique and trippy semi-rhythm game with Undertale-like characters and humor. Tough as nails but very fun. Ghost Trick just released on Steam. I loved the DS game and this remaster is very well done. Great plot, great remastered music, fun and interesting puzzle action gameplay. @gamingonlinux & TotK cuz ofc @gamingonlinux Dave the Diver on steam deck. The mini cut scenes alone are worth it. The wife is having a blast watching as well. @gamingonlinux Also project zomboid. @gamingonlinux Lots of Factorio. I recently discovered the Seablock modpack and I've been hooked. @gamingonlinux pathfinder wotr dlc. If you want a literal adaptation of tabletop gaming this is about as good as I’ve seen. Great writing and choices. @gamingonlinux i felt nostalgic and went back to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, which i never finished as a child. 22 years later i see why, this shit is tough as nails. @gamingonlinux I started playing Eastward. Beautiful at first and well balanced. Then there is a part where you are being chased with no possibility to go back and buy food so you die and die…. I gave up with huge frustration 🙄 @gamingonlinux swapping between Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed on my Deck and Diablo 4 on my desktop. @gamingonlinux I'll tell you what I havent been playing (on linux), civilization IV :(( I can't get it to run properly updates keeps breaking it @gamingonlinux Black Mesa. Is it any good? Well, it's a remaster of Half-Life 1 so yes it is. :) I did play the original, but never finished it. Plan is to complete it this time. @gamingonlinux a little bit Warthunder, a bit wh40k Rogue Trader, a bit Timberborn and today I came back to Mount & Blade Bannerlord. And threw a quick look at the dungeon of Naheulbeuk, the current epic games free title. Like all of them :ablobcatheadbang: @gamingonlinux Age of Empires IV! Totally worth it if you like Age2 despite it plays differently from Age2. The campaign is also quite fun. The cut-scenes are high-quality like TV historical documentaries. @gamingonlinux Total War Warhammer 3, since it's on sale. Was on a Warhammer 2 binge before that @gamingonlinux Almost finished A Plague Tale: Innocence on Steam Deck this weekend. @gamingonlinux I’ve been playing Plate Up! with my SO, it’s great! Cult of the Lamb is another amazing game I keep coming back to. @gamingonlinux well since I have a 7 month old child, I am playing what I can play between his sleep at night, when he sleep early I play "This Land Of Mine", yesterday I reinstalled "Vulcanoids" to play again, this week played "Crusader's King III". But I liked "Geneses Alpha One", I like space genre games, would love to get more content on it. I have bought yesterday but yet not played "X4: Foudantion", just the base game because don't know if I gonna enjoy playing it in my spare time. @gamingonlinux Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate Definitive Edition, a lot of fun and runs great through Proton. @gamingonlinux I just started Nier:atomata. Very interesting so far. hopefully it keeps my attention. @gamingonlinux Frostpunk. It's a brutally hard colony management game, works via Proton with no issues. I was trying to play Chrono Cross on my Steam Deck but for some reason I cannot get it to save correctly and it's driving me nuts. @gamingonlinux In linux? OpenTTD. And yeah, it’s still great. But nowadays I am doing my best in Diablo IV. Mixed feelings, but mostly fine. @gamingonlinux I have been playing Lost Ark. Hopefully it gets EAC turned on for Linux. But it's Amazon so I don't think it will happen. @gamingonlinux bouncing between a few things, but been playing a good bit of “Marvel’s Midnight Suns” an unusual mix of game-styles to be sure. @gamingonlinux Been playing a ton of Cyberpunk 2077 and "Bland and Sorcery". Both fantastic games, surprising to me how well they run on proton. @gamingonlinux I've been replaying Cities: Skylines for quite a while now. It's one of the games, that work on Linux, so I've been enjoying it a lot. @gamingonlinux Dave the Diver. You will feel bad for paying a so low price for the game. It's a "zen game", but likes to always give you some interesting narrative development. @gamingonlinux I picked up the Yakuza collection in gog and have been playing through Yakuza 0. Having so much fun it's becoming a problem for my sleep schedule @gamingonlinux Mostly been playing Vintage Story. Does have a linux client even though it's written in Mono. But does have a NET7 beta which works pretty good on Arch so far. Like Minecraft but no Notch and everything is purposeful and deliberate. @gamingonlinux Hrot. A must-have if you want to know what playing Quake on the backdrop of communist Czechoslovakia is like. @gamingonlinux Bitburner. Helped me dust off javascript skills and scratches some itch for old text-based adventure games I used to play in the BBS days. @gamingonlinux Switched over to Linux a couple weeks ago, been playing Elden Ring and overwatch most of the time. Really surprised by how easy everything was. Almost everything just works @gamingonlinux been playing all kinds of Kingdoms Reborn on steam. like civilization and banished had an amazing baby |
@gamingonlinux I'm actually waiting for SF6 proton configuration good enough to negate the delay on it
