@gamingonlinux And what do you think about that? Is it good or bad?

@gamingonlinux I switched to exclusively PC game on my Steam Deck when I got it just under a year ago, because while I could get slightly better performance on my 6 year old desktop, that also came with 10x the power draw.

@gamingonlinux I play steam games on the Steam Deck, but I'm done with Windows on my PCs, so my next build will be on Linux.

@gamingonlinux There has been a drop in macOS usage. Are macOS users using the Gaming Porting Toolkit to run Steam?

An image showing which operating system Steam is most commonly used on. Windows leads with 96.77%, increasing by 0.63%. macOS comes in second with 1.79%, dropping 0.60%. Linux came in last with 1.44%, decreasing by 0.03%.

@gamingonlinux oh this is great news. let's hope the amount of steam deck users increase. it will just make the life of the rest of linux users so much better when it comes to gaming.

@gamingonlinux I'm in the market for a "my other gaming PC also runs Linux" sticker.

@gamingonlinux

At the moment - If I had the money I would throw them at a Steam Deck and a Milk-V Pioneer Box.

@gamingonlinux I'm currently running Manjaro on my desktop, mainly for gaming. Other than the increasingly rare hiccup, it works like a dream. I'm definitely going to get myself a Steam Deck soon.

Thank you Valve for making Linux not only a good, but often times better platform for gaming!

@gamingonlinux
I'm kinda surprised that it's less than half! Even as a desktop Linux user myself, that's a stronger showing from desktop Linux users than I expected.

@gamingonlinux the steam deck convinced me that I could make linux as a desktop daily driver work and so far, about a year in, I'm not disappointed!

@gamingonlinux The big information, is also the steam deck permit to double Linux gamers.

@gamingonlinux And how many of those are new to gaming linux? Half? More? The real story here is that the Steamdeck is making it popular to play Windows games on "not Windows".
