@gamingonlinux Plugging the fantastic Yoku's Island Express also here. Such a lovely game. @gamingonlinux Hey there, I'm the developer of Pinball Spire! Thanks for posting about it! :blobcatheart: You may want to avoid NVIDIA driver 550 if you're on a laptop https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/06/you-may-want-to-avoid-nvidia-driver-550-if-youre-on-a-laptop/ @gamingonlinux "You may want to avoid NVIDIA driver". End. End right there. The rest are just different shades of black and peril. @gamingonlinux Never a bad time to start using #NVK instead, at least if the games you play are playable on it. I mainly play Overwatch and it's running well enough that I don't need the official NVIDIA driver anymore (though the official driver never did work very well for me, I mostly gamed in Windows on my laptop). @gamingonlinux Thanks for the info. I set up a Pop!OS laptop and a desktop this week, both Nvidia, both have been crashy, so maybe this is part of my problem, on the laptop at least. @gamingonlinux I think there is a lot of potential for arm notebooks and Linux. I feel like Windows just isn't designed for the increasingly complex CPUs, with features like for example different performance and efficiency cores. I really hope there will be as good or even better support than for x86. Now is the time to do the groundwork, and with Qualcomm having a Linux-from-the-start strategy it looks very promising!
