@gamingonlinux a linux notebook without a trackpoint :-(

CanadaMan ๐Ÿณโ€๐ŸŒˆ :3

@gamingonlinux its so surprizing to me that more laptops dont have a costom linux install, like its a full contrast to android on phones, like most sub models on phones have a new rom.

Google AI is already feeding back into itself from articles about how dumb it is looool

The Penguin of Evil

@gamingonlinux Given they didn't say that and it's dangerous that looks like Google AI is now churning out actively defamatory statements. Sooner they do that to someone rich and angry and it gets ugly the better

@gamingonlinux Oooh, nice! Time to try VR in Linux again, haven't done that in a while!

@gamingonlinux I am going to test this right now. I really hope they made Link it work on Linux.

Arglabh, the beta is full >_<

@gamingonlinux Reporting back on this the launcher and room setup worked great this time, just like on Windows! I then went and downloaded HL:A of course; the obvious benchmark. I played for about an hour before it hung the entire PC and had to be hard reset. The performance was way better than last time but reproduction was pretty bad. Playable for some perhaps but would probably cause motion sickness for others. Still, a huge leap forward and here's to hoping they keep improving!

@gamingonlinux If it's true that steam "dictate[s] the lowest price games can be sold for on rival platforms" then that really shouldn't be allowed. It'd be comparable to the most-favored nation (MFN) agreements described in the suits against Amazon.

@gamingonlinux I'm really surprised to see all of this white-knight'ing for a big electronics / software corporation. Every time one of these corporations gets taken to task, it's good for consumers.

1.) Valve certainly shouldn't be able to dictate how publishers set their prices on other platforms.
2.) DLC should 100% be agnostic across platforms and there's no reason it should be difficult to implement.
3.) If Steam has a monopoly on PC game sales, then its commission is necessarily excessive

@gamingonlinux the Turok trilogy alone is worth a $5er at least haha. tbh T3 was weird from what I remember. Only rented it from block buster back in the day.

Has anyone else seen the bug in #KDE where you can drag one window over from one screen to another, and it will end up showing something on your screen from earlier?

Example, I have Chome open and begin dragging Discord over and instantly an old Instagram DM half-appears that I sent earlier. That tab was closed a while ago. Why is it appearing?

I've seen it a few times, seems like a big privacy issue too. Imagine if it showed up something....fun, you had earlier. #Linux @kde
