@Gargron coming from a country where the judiciary and executive are famous for grovelling when asked to bend , these US govt staff calmly speaking the truth to power against the most powerful man (and by all accounts a vengeful one) in the world , is inspiring , to say the least . When Ms Hill talks of her humble origins and a working class accent that wouldn’t have helped in England , it is all the more impressive to me . Modern aristocrats crawl in my country .

@Gargron when I first got glasses as a kid, I remember staring at all the leaves in the trees. I told my family it was “like upgrading to HD!” and they gave me so much crap for it. But it was an incredible feeling realizing there was so much more detail to see in the world.

@Gargron would bet money this is vagus nerve related. Motion sickness is likely acting thru vagus nerve stimulation's impact on serotonin sensations from the gut-brain axis.

If so, long term use would reduce inflammation of the gut and might impact a bunch of other disorders.
