 I am pretty sure that people who demand to be called in a specific way (names, pronouns, etc) need therapy. I am fine if one calls me Alex, Annie, A.L.F., he, she, it, whatever. Compelling strangers to keep a long record about me and use it is directly violating their personal liberty. The culture of being polite to everyone inevitably leads to united harassment of minorities, whatever minority means. I am polite to people I like and rude to people I don’t, no matter what society tells me about those people. I am at least honest.
