 People are so freaking nice, obviously the HN thread has lots of negativity in it, but out of it came a handful of folks who reached out to us wanting to send us their unused computers. Unfortunately, we can't make much use of Macbook as some of these won't boot at all without a working battery, which makes them awfully impractical for us. But in any case, it's nice to see. We're trying our honest best here, and it's exciting to see that it gets people thinking about this sort of things. What a beautiful work of art he (and the dozens/hundreds of helpers) rebuilt. Wonder is in such sort supply at so many layers. I want a browser that lets me wander through worlds and spaces not just filter information. Languages that consider strange modes of composition. Weird, human, messy.   Fearless extensibility: Extending THINK Pascal When you fling a pseudo-latin expression, look it up and it's grammatically perfect. When things go wrong is when we learn the most aboard Pino. We had a lot of engine issues this year, so... LOTS and LOTS of learning. The boat itself doesn't have issues, Pino truly is a strong and dependable little vessel. The engine is the weakest link(or us, because it seems like we never know enough). I updated our list of notes on the subject: https://100r.co/site/engine_care.html  Yesterday we had to unclog some seaweed from the engine intake while underway, a little hand pump did the trick :P... we pumped air into the thruhull and it cleared it away. Trying out a microscope objective lens to see the beautiful fur on this moth, which has been hanging out by my front door. |
