Currently only the German language version is archived. Just learned that both authors of LZ77 and LZ78 compression method died this year. Prof. Abraham Lempel died 7 weeks ago.  @dosnostalgic That 1986 one, that's the Tetris that ruled my dreams and delayed my uni essays. Of course, I wasn't playing it on a Famicom either. :)  @dosnostalgic I loved the 1988 one! Instantly recognizable.

Seen a lot of teenagers and kids play PC games from 80s and 90s this past weekend. ❤ It was a privilege to represent DOS/PC gaming at such a great event as the Long Island Retro Gaming EXPO this year. I ended up with 48 PC gaming setups for people to play (in addition to vintage IBM compatible machines available in other sections,) with 33 DOS games among them. And I'm happy to report that over the course of 3 days all games were enjoyed by people of all ages! Here's a 117 kilobyte JPEG by kgsws. It appears to be a perfectly normal picture, but... @dosnostalgic I liked ROTT a lot back in the day, mainly b/c of the hilarious god and shroom modes coupled with the "LUDICROUS GIBS!"
And on Christmas the opening screen added Santa hats and the music was changed to... was it God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen? I remember just laughing my ass off at the goofiness of it all
Most of my gaming happens on retro consoles at this point, so I didn't even know this re-release was out there. Thanks for sharing!
