Well, looks like we're going to need some more leopards to get through all these faces. @thomasbeagle All it needs is a classy bumpersticker saying "Slaver. Out and Proud." Nobody but slavers even thinks of owning people. I wrote about how I think we should ban the use of facial recognition technology to do remote surveillance: https://nzccl.org.nz/facing-up-to-reality-new-zealand-is-failing-on-controlling-facial-recognition-technology/ Thanks. That’s a good article. Those remote recognition things also bring up the already existing problem of right of access to and correction of information. In the past someone would have to look me in the eye and tell me I’m a bad person but now the computer does it automatically and in the most shoddy way possible, and even after trying to get it fixed (because it’s their mistake) I still have problems. Automatic problems. No human intervention required. Preparing my favourite salad garnish: toasting equal parts pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and pinenuts, with a little bit of salt and olive oil. What a great line: "Artists may not always be the best people to operate the heavy machinery of adulthood".
