 @dirksteins @nobilor The link that it uses for reference doesn't actually provide any date @dosnostalgic @nobilor yeah. I looked at wikipedia, they cited it. I was a little bit in doubt because fhe Atari ST was one of the first mainstream computers to support midi, and it first came out in 1984. So Midi mist have been a little bit older because it takes some time to develop a home computer. @dirksteins@social.cologne @dosnostalgic@mastodon.social I also thought about that, because I had an Atari ST some years later because of Midi. But I didn't check it.  |

MIDI is a standard of a data protocol and interface. MIDI isn't a style of sound.
