Hey fedi. Be aware.
Matrix.org matrix server is filtering telegram links in non-encrypted chats.
1. Matrix.org users won't be able to send messages with links to telegram channels.
2. They won't be able to see links you send them.
3. I have no idea how many filters exist for another domains.
4. You likely won't know if another person has seen your message with a link.
5. That's very bad. It shouldn't work this way.
6. Not to mention that these type of filters are bad by themselves.

I'm not using nor recommending matrix for life-critical communication (even more starting from today).
But let's imagine that you want to send somebody in a group chat message "it's time for you to hide" with a telegram link to a post about drone attack like on the screenshot.
And that person never receives your message without you knowing about that.
