Voting ended 5 Aug 2023 at 22:02. QUARREL BY PIPES So, one time Ishmael wandered in a Solinopolis sector and had a fight with Ventosín. By the way, this is a first public story about Ishmael! There was a private short game that was shown to, like, two people, but you folks won't see it. Read full: https://garden.bouncepaw.com/hypha/quarrel_by_pipes @bouncepaw I'd assume for a wiki outside of .ru zone to be under the radar for that, tbh. But yes, threw a rage fit or two about it already. Wanted to write a short story to accompany a recent drawing. I wanted the main character befriend the drawn character and make them say out the phrase on the drawing. Instead, they quarrelled. Oh come on! Whatever, I have a second traveling character. I'll write a second short story! P. S. The recent tentacle name poll is directly related to that. What's a good name for a friendly tentacle monster? You're actually naming one here. This is important.

@bouncepaw I'm so tired of crafting this comic 😭 It is an infinite process. Luckily, the deadline is very close, so I'll finally be able to stop. Well, it'll be printed and read, so probably worth it. In my next comic, there won't be a single person with a naturally colored hair. In contrast to my current one, where the main character has brown hair. @bouncepaw the only reasonable evolution of that is 'no single person with natural skin color' Git. Reviewing and accepting patches from SourceHut is easier than pull requests from Forgejo. Sending pull requests on Forgejo is easier than patches on SourceHut. I'm usually in the reviewing position, so I'd prefer SourceHut for that, yeah. I accept both though. @bouncepaw WARC is the standard archivers use (I've used https://github.com/ArchiveTeam/grab-site to generate them). But, as someone lazy, I usually just put it in https://archive.is and grab the output. https://gofullpage.com/ I've also used this to generate PDFs or PNGs in the past. I don't like how people think that there are only two major browser engines: Blink and Gecko (is that how it's called now?). Don't forget WebKit please 🥺 We use it non-ironically. TIL about Mac's built-in text-to-speech utility called Say. Use like this: say -v Samantha "And this is crazy. But here's my number, so call me maybe." What should I do with it..? I did it! I compiled Dillo+ for Mac. It was a challenge, took me some time figuring things out. https://github.com/crossbowerbt/dillo-plus My review: it is fun, but completely unstable. So many websites just crashed the browser. It wasn't rare at all. I would have been fine with it lacking like 90 % of web standards, but I expected it to at least not crash every so often. The window focus logic also is wrong for some reason? Thread. There are pictures in the replies. Editing, adjusting and coloring my paper line art for the comic in #Krita. It's my first big project in digital art! I see many benefits over traditional art. I should learn it. |
@bouncepaw
OK, what are webmotions now?
I have heard of web animations but did not use them:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Web_Animations_API
@bouncepaw I’m trying but I find them too complicated
@bouncepaw is there a ‘I would love to’ option?
