A new Russian law was published that requires operators of Russian websites with authorization authorize Russian citizens with either phone, or other personal identification. My software lacks these capabilities and will probably lack them forever.

I'm waiting for analysis by an expert. More will probably be known tomorrow. If I really have to, I'll close registration on all my public wikis for everyone:

Wanted to write a short story to accompany a recent drawing. I wanted the main character befriend the drawn character and make them say out the phrase on the drawing. Instead, they quarrelled. Oh come on! Whatever, I have a second traveling character. I'll write a second short story!

Git. Reviewing and accepting patches from SourceHut is easier than pull requests from Forgejo. Sending pull requests on Forgejo is easier than patches on SourceHut.

I'm usually in the reviewing position, so I'd prefer SourceHut for that, yeah. I accept both though.

@bouncepaw WARC is the standard archivers use (I've used github.com/ArchiveTeam/grab-si to generate them).

But, as someone lazy, I usually just put it in archive.is and grab the output. gofullpage.com/ I've also used this to generate PDFs or PNGs in the past.

I did it! I compiled Dillo+ for Mac. It was a challenge, took me some time figuring things out.

My review: it is fun, but completely unstable. So many websites just crashed the browser. It wasn't rare at all. I would have been fine with it lacking like 90 % of web standards, but I expected it to at least not crash every so often. The window focus logic also is wrong for some reason?

I would like to know if Dillo (from github.com/dillo-browser/dillo) also segfaults on a Mac for you, or is only happening in the Dillo+ fork. I tested your sites on Linux and they open correctly.

Gemini, Gopher and other protocols are provided by plugins in Dillo in case you want to try them too: dillo-browser.github.io/#plugi
