A friend told me to play Xenogears. After some hesitation, I gave in and played it, while streaming it to him. It was fun. Looking forward to the desert submersible arc I was told about. Today I wanted to fix the buttons on my #Nintendo 3DS. I didn't know what the issue was, but I was sure I had to disassemble it right to the buttons. Bad news: it means I had to disassemble the bottom part, like, completely. Wiped the buttons. Assembled it back (had to fix a couple of little things along the way too). Can't state that the buttons improved in any way. Maybe they even got worse... 3 hours bad spent. 1/2 I'll flash the custom firmware tomorrow nevertheless, even though the buttons are not in the best condition. This part will be easy! I know computers! Looks like my dream of refurbishing my favorite game console without any new parts failed. At least I didn't have to buy the funky screwdriver, a friend let me borrow it. 2/2 Designing characters for my comic. I wanted to include Aqbuzat ΒΉ in it, who is a horse, in the story. Thought that drawing horses is too hard and not that convincing and I gotta deliver. So now he is a guy with wings. From the story point of view, he changed the form so the main character is more comfortable. 1: In Bashkir mythology, Aqbuzat is the legendary horse for a hero (Ural-batyr, for example) and the first of the Tolpars, the flying horses (basically pegasi). Planning to buy that DNA sequencing test and learn, like, everything, except for the source code, about me. I didn't really know much about the comic universe. Mutants? What are they? What is Eternal's problem with them? Huh? I liked that the take on the characters was different from the movies. While reading something called Judgement day I remembered that my beloved Tsutomu Nihei had written a comic about Wolverine called Snikt!. Reading it now. How wonderful is it! The long-discontinued Bashkortostan anthology of comics called Honey Stories, after 3 years, accepts new entries this summer. They want Bashkir folklore inspired stories. I wanted something more pipe-related, but maybe I will take part in it!? Last time I applied (that is, 4 years ago), they rejected my entry due to bad quality. Perhaps I got better? Too bad I won't be able to visit the seminars, because the are in Ufa, and I am in Kazan for whole June. Shops sure miss me. They send countless notifications and ads to my phone.
