This is alarming. Thanks for sharing. It's a long read but all of it interesting. I was surprised to read of Ashton Kutcher's presence at the center of Thorn and their unsettling behavior in obtaining free access to all our communication. Lots of information reinforcing that wealthy, privileged forces are trying to keep us from seeing their true intentions.

First off, it's a good campaign. I love the parody of (notably unencrypted) Discord's "Imagine A Place". But I do hesitate when a company I love starts doing an ad blitz, because it's usually followed by some unsavory changes (again, Discord). It also usually signifies "we need more people to use our service" which comes with raising rates or adding tiers, and as someone with massive respect for Mullvad and a strong ambassador this makes me nervous.

Regardless, this goes hard:

@mullvadnet ah yes the classic change of procedures and looking into things that normally would never be looked into due to good #privacy and #security and #integrity protocols meaning they should have known there was no data to get... but just because the requests came from another country prosecution some people show up at your door asking for information that does not exist
