@trevorflowers I had an original VT100 and an other model. I'm pretty sure I both took them to recycling when we moved home some 18 years ago. @trevorflowers gods. i worked on one of those back in the... coff! coff! coff!'s back in the days where this UN*X thing was a commercial joke, some some guy from Finland released an OS named after himself, and ran on... PC's!!! i mean, as if... I'm pretty excited by this news from the #KiCAD 8 announcement page: "With the help of 8 new librarians joining the effort, the library gained over 1500 new symbols and 760 footprints, and had thousands of updates to fix or improve existing parts." Oh, hai tiny floppy disk organizer but for micro SD cards.

@trevorflowers idk if anyone already asked, but can you share the STLs? Well, this is a fun hack, instamatic-style printed and animated pix. KineCAM: An Instant Camera for Animated Photographs video introduction https://yewtu.be/watch?v=1H72JAxHymE via @trevorflowers Days since I have disassembled a machine for repair only to realize that I need the machine to make a part for the repair: 0 It seems like a sweet project is coming together right around the time when I'm ready for more work. Banking info and numbers have been traded so that seems positive. If money lands then I'll be able to talk (and release WIP videos) about it. Can you guess my new project by this part? (dimensions are close but not yet exactly correct) Is there a fediverse equivalent to Printables, Thangs, or SketchFab? A Pixelfed or Funkwhale but for 3D assets instead of pix or podcasts. @trevorflowers sorta related I just found http://icosa.gallery which is an open source community maintained repository for 3d models that got dumped by google in a reshuffle. probably the perfect sort of project that would benefit from federation with other 3d model repositories |
@trevorflowers @SDF oh no! I wonβt be back from #monktoberfest until Sunday late. Boo
