Pixelfed app (v1.0.0.68) will be released shortly with a fix for comment replies on Android! Sorry about that! As the allocation of funds for #HorizonEU 2025 is still going on, there is still a chance to get funds available for @EC_NGI   @dansup @pixelfed sounds amazing! I'm interested in learning more about a locked down, family only instance. I don't feel comfortable posting photos of my child on commercial social media (even on a private account, because... don't trust them with biometric info) and it would be a good excuse to get my family on the Fediverse. Where can I find more info/documentation about this?  @dansup @pixelfed love, love, love this. I started a family instance when we welcomed our firstborn. Itβll be her social media training wheels, and preserver of family memories for years to come. Looking forward to shipping this iconic feature! bf: why do you need so many records when you listen to spotify? me: because I'm going to DJ live on Fridays to demonstrate Pixelfed Live @dansup Spotify licensing rights are temporary - physical media is forever (relatively speaking).

 Made some improvements to the @pixelfed docs, lots more in store https://docs.pixelfed.org/running-pixelfed/configuration.html  Did you know? Pixelfed has a default limit of 1000 users per instance. This encourages healthy community growth and meaningful interactions.   Excellent. We need that across the whole of the Fediverse. Maybe a 2000 or 5000 limit but relatively small chunks for sure.

@pixelfed I was trying to figure out how to update from an old downloaded version to the android public beta. Any special tricks, aside from requesting to join the beta?
