I think I should try some other theme except for Materia KDE + my Material Shell-like panel setups (though my portable laptop is currently with one panel, but simmilar tab-like stuff)
Most semitransparent ones are kinda crap though, I need to see stuff to use interface (and I have a tab-like interface using kwin rules, that would make transparency see the other windows, so I cannot really use it either...)

Some (presumably new) Mastodon users seem to be gaslighting themselves into not favoriting posts just because it does not push post futher since there is no alghorithm.
Just remember that all of this numbers don't have a real world value except showing that someone read your post and liked it. Boosts have a side effect of pushing post futher to followers of a person but it's effect is becoming lesser once you boost too much, so it's better to reserve it for urgent posts and ones you think you just cannot not boost after seeing it.
Favorites and reactioms (Pleroma has unicode reactions, custom emoji ones are Akkoma, Misskey and Misskey-based software specific) are just a virtual headpat you can give person. With or without replies and boosts, it's still very heartwarming to get those.

I get some slight issues in a new install that I didn't on my other machine.
They seem like they shouldn't be possible to be hardware-specific, since they are like "firefox refuses to show addon menus in toolbar", so they may be, like, config generating issues I didn't went through because I already generated configs in older versions of software.
Installing fedora on laptop after fixing windows fast boot issue was actually fast and easy, I even encrypted drive
Technically alpine is faster to install but CLI/TUI setup is clunky and you don't actually get a simply working system like I would like to (still planning to try Alpine Desktop out sometime since it will may be better on battery life of older laptop and can be fit on a small partition for dual boot)
Now I seemingly cannot load bios, only way to boot from usb is to reboot from windows special boot menu.
I am slightly afraid I will not be able to boot laptop If I f-up my linux installation since I only found a way to reboot to bios from working linux, not from not bootloader

I was thinking about how the 2hu girls would react to trans people (result - probably mostly neutral or positive except Reimu), but if you think about it, canonically humans were convinced that all youkai are cute girls and because youkai are spirits they became ones through that, despite original myths clearly stating a lot of youkai kinds to be male in most of the stories
Originally it more of a projecting real world craze with femine humanizations of mythology on Touhou world because it is how Gensokyo works, making outside world’s fantasies a reality…
Well, it is still very fitting for Touhou, you can say realistic trans don’t really exist in Gensokyo because it is fantasy where fully changing sex is pretty much possible, maybe even by a lot of different means depending on if you can ask Yukari to revert borders of cis genders or hold it in-between, or instead will rely on magical spells or potions, or will (secretly from Reimu) become youkai and change perception of yourself

It seems that despite all of issues it still could be used as daily driver for old-ish portable laptop I will soon get my hands on, since I don’t need games except maybe something open source to kill time, and stuff like browser, libreoffice and some general use compilers and interpreters (simple c++, python, etc.) works just fine
On the other hand, I think Fedora or any other distro will do just fine too on the same laptop, so I’m not really sure if alpine-based setup is worth it at all
It's really abstract and simplistic and ignores a lot of variables that set priorities, but it's still has a good point about maybe writing a list of problems and rethinking solutions you should choose.
Why are people so obsessed with fictional character having or nat having a definite gender at all?
When the whole point is a jokes that character may or may not be a girl, or when character is cannonically from a genderless race, it still makes fandom lose their minds about must they call character a girl or not
Examples:
Rimuru Tempest - Actually pretty simple case, character has mind of cis guy and identifies as a boy, while having sexless, but femine appearance.
Opera-san - unknown, several cases of being called a girl and not minding it, wearing femine clothes in youth but knowing that crossdressing is a reoccurring comedy theme opera still can be either or neither if it even would be revealed. My favorite joke is - their canon gender is "Yes"

Fediverse is not about “not being complicated” or “being user-friendly specifically to ex twitter users”, it’s about giving control to the users. You cannot do both and not let down on both.
After trying out Piper the voice synth software I should say that it initialises and synthes small text in ~0.3 seconds solely on cpu while preinitialised server with Coqui-tts using cuda (nvidia gpu api) synthed the same text at ~0.36 seconds, while voice quality is not too different, at least on my vrappy laptops speakers
