Want to restore the start menu from Windows 10 in Windows 11 24H2?

Download ExplorerPatcher, rename the file to anything and run it to install it. Now get the StartUI.dll file from Windows 11 23H2, located in this directory:

C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy

After getting the StartUI.dll file, put it into same directory path for in Windows 11 24H2. Open ExplorerPatcher Properties, you should
see an option to set the start menu as Windows 10. Enjoy!

In Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC, Right clicking on Microsoft Edge icon in start menu shows the uninstall option.

IMPORTANT PSA: If someone that you don't know says to login to that random Apple ID on your device, DO NOT SIGN IN TO THAT RANDOM APPLE ID ELSE THEY WILL VERY LIKELY PUT YOUR APPLE DEVICE INTO LOST MODE FOR RANSOM!

If you or someone you know has fallen to this, you might be able to get out of it as long you have the original purchase receipt for the Apple device from the retailer that you've originally purchased the Apple device from. If so, contact Apple ASAP at support.apple.com/contact

iPhone is set into lost mode by the scammer, happened after logging into random Apple ID account on that iPhone.
@Bob Pony so my iphone got lost mode by a random person (edited) because i was trying to buy this genshin impact automatic thing for ios i already paid it and like i thought i was going to receive some sort of developer certificate (edited) but then they gave me a random apple id i will admit I AM VERY DUMB either i was too tired or i was TOO HYPED about that tool so uh i logged in trying to find the certificate and gets revenged im so sad

@bobpony that instruction is part of SSE4.2. you know what else needs SSE4.2? 64-bit images for Waydroid.

yeah, i think this has its reasons somewhere deep up WSA's ass. tho making sure my old laptop (core 2 duo) does not boot currently supported Windows either is a good thing imo

DWMBlurGlass is installed on Windows 10 LTSC 2021 (Based off 21H2 aka Windows 10 November 2021 Update) and is shown working in the screenshot, notice the smaller window buttons and the aero glass effects such as the shine and blur. There's a custom theme applied that makes Windows 10 look like Windows 7 and StartisBack is also installed to give the Windows 7 look to the taskbar including the start menu.

Actually, WordPad got a MAJOR GROUND BREAKING CHANGE! 😱

Since the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (v1607), the placement for the highlight color and text color button in the ribbon bar have been swapped! 🔄

Windows 10 Build 14366 is the first known build to have this new change.

Comparison of the placement location for the highlight color button and text color button located in the ribbon bar in WordPad. Since the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, the placement for both of them got swapped.
