I'm desperately seeking information about this chip. It is a custom #Psion RS232 IC used in the Series 3c, codenamed CONDOR. If you were involved in the development of the 3c or knew someone who worked for Psion around 1994-1997 who might have been involved, please get in touch. We want to emulate this chip in #MAME so that it can be added to the existing Psion SIBO hardware #emulation. This could also help with 3mx serial emulation.   @thelastpsion Are there enough broken 3c:s to be able to decap the chip? With the node size at that time this should be quite accessible today.

 @Natasha_Jay feel it necessary to add a late-period risc os scrollbar. carved. in. stone. π @Natasha_Jay The concept of scrolling was forever destroyed when a cabal of evil web devs discovered scroll-driven animations. people keep recommending something called typst as an alternative to latex, but I canβt seem to find it on any of the usual fetishwear storesβ¦?

Word of advice to newbies: donβt go crazy buying gear, especially new at retail, all at once. Get the minimal tools you need. And when it comes to tools, first buy the cheapest you can find that looks like itβll do the job. If that breaks, then buy the more expensive one, preferably used - hell, sometimes we old timers give gear away. People give me stuff all the time, and I try to pay it forward.  @renchap The fact that it's an issue for some instances (probably smaller ones?) and not others lends credence to the DDOS mitigation theory.  @renchap YouTube has been blocking all server-based anonymous access since August, I suspect there are no way back from this⦠I say those ML content crawler was to blame. |
