 PayPal just sent me an email for the first time in a couple of years. In short, it says "hey, we know that we froze all russian accounts two years ago and you are unable to withdraw your money or pay for anything, but we are now introducing a service fee so we basically will take away all your money now that are stuck on your account". Even Hetzner returned me all my money when they destroyed my account due to my citizenship. Me: minding my own business  Didn't expect my university to be the reason I actually have to learn Godot now if I want to pass this semester :woozy_melting: There is a course on creating Digital Twins in Unity, but the lector is chill with us using other engines. 5 hours ago. Now. Recovering data, the most important stuff is safe now. I think I should take a day off to finally bring some order to terabytes of my data and set up proper backups...

This is just hilarious. Element, which migrated to the new encryption library still marked as insecure because it uses Jitsi, which uses an old Matrix encryption library.  Russia just made it illegal to do reposts on social media. Only reposts of bloggers with >10000 subscribers who registered themselves at a special registry are allowed. I guess it is now illegal to repost this post. Update: the law didn't get active yet, it will take several months. It is just accepted by the Duma.
