He bought my Rift S in the end. Today I went to visit him and he let me try out a 3D printer. You can imagine my AliExpress order list now.

@inex Of course, as a law-abiding citizen, you have nothing to be afraid for - and nothing to hide from your state that always cares about your safety and well-being. /sarc This is a new dimension of fucked. me: casually tells how NixOS would be nice in the discussed context me: working Checked every open firefox tab, they all were silent. Opened Helvum, it showed that the audio was played by "Chromium" proccess. I didn't have Chromium open. A minute later, I've realized. It was Steam. Playing the trailer of Apex Legends, without any Steam window open. I didn't interact with Steam in any way that could lead to this o.o Steam regularly does some weird stuff. Like, randomly opens itself. Or randomly opens a chat with someone even when there were no new messages. One time, I fell asleep with my PC unlocked. Steam opened a chat with someone jokingly asking me to fuck them. Someone else likely saw this.

me in school: bioinformatics is cool, I wanna do this medicine-related programming stuff when I grow up!!! me six years ago: uh, well, I definitely won't handle both informatics and medicine education, won't even try me now: how did my name end up in a medicine-related patent It's 4:29 and I'm here to remind you that back in 2022 me and NaiJi did an English hardsub for the "regular expressions" podcast episode with Eugen Rochko (Gargron) showing up on it, talking about groups, full account migrations, "no fun allowed" and more. Hey fedi, I need help. Send me as many good programming courses (or any other learning material) as you can, for science. These should be about programming, and not about coding. I'm interested in those that you think are actually great. They may be about programming as a whole, or about something specific. Boosts are very welcome.

I still can't comprehend the fact that in order to get a drastically safer Telegram experience (in terms of not being tied to your passport if you are in Russia) you have to pay 1000 dollars and you still don't actually get the anonymous experience and still have to pay for Telegram Premium.
