@tomasino Unfortunately keyboard smashing to indicate exasperation on #Dvorak fails, because it looks too much like you're trying to type actual words but failing.
I mix canned tuna with mayo, brown mustard, red wine vinegar, chopped cucumbers, jalapeno, dill pickles, salt, pepper, and basil. Then I toss it in a hot skillet to brown a bit. Just before it comes out of the pan I'll add some cheese (today's was a Mexican blend). I serve it with celery sticks for some yummy crunch. Today's version also got topped by heaping amounts of alfalfa sprouts. Nom nom nom!
If you just joined our server here at https://tilde.zone and you aren't familair with #tilde servers or the #tildeverse , let me give you the quick intro!
Tilde servers are small, public shared systems where anyone can get a login to create fun stuff on the command line, like make web pages or use forums and play games.
There's a strong retro-computing culture here. There's also a lot of other projects related to the idea of the Small Internet: https://ino.is/small-internet-talk
Check out https://tildeverse.org for more info, or poke me if you have any questions. We'd love to invite you to all of our fun spaces.

If I had a bajillion monies and didn't need to work I would spend my life as a muse for everyone I meet. I want to help everyone find their passions and do cool things. I like to help. I'm not sure what hashtag to use for that.
It's been a few years since my last #introduction post, so lets do this again:
@tomasino Hey Tomasino! I have an account on your cosmic voyage server (I'm hifikuno). When NaNoWriMo is over I should really get back and finish my story!
@tomasino nice to see you in my timeline! #Solarpunk sounds like an amazing movement and I'm curious to learn more about it. Thanks for sharing your various interests!
I've put together a survey about the Small Internet (#gopher, #gemini, individual webpages, small community sites) and I would love your input. If you are a small internet user, please spend a few minutes and fill in your thoughts. I'm especially interested in the open response questions. This will help inform an upcoming conference talk I'll be giving at https://mch2022.org
Also, please boost this on fedi as much as possible and feel free to re-share on other social networks and in other communities. The more responses the better.

@tomasino I'm a bit perplexed by the poll questions, to be honest, or maybe I'm just a dinosaur. I've been doing these "small" things since it was just the Internet, and simply haven't stopped. It's not nostalgia, but there's definitely an irritation with the bloat and centralisation that has appeared in the meantime. It's more a feeling that the Internet has gone in a direction that I don't like and have avoided and I am glad that there are other people who feel the same way.
