@skobkin Completely agree! They are not on our instance, to be fair, I also would not ban them if they were, just ask them to not do this any further and then ignore them.
You are right that this is not worth my time and usually I would not publicize something like this - however, I felt like I wanted to speak up about it because it has never happened to me before and I do not know how to deal with it?
I wanted to talk about it because it was surprising... to say the least. In the future I will no longer bug my timeline with it.

Yeah, I can understand your frustrarion. Sometimes we meet completely irrational people and it's very hard to comprehend what's going on in their heads. Often it's not worth it to even try.
And no, I wasn't suggesting to ban them right away, just let them know that with such behavior they're not welcome. And if they're not on your instance then it's probably not even worth blocking them. So you're right, ignoring them sounds like the best choice.
