@yurnidiot LoL it’s funny but what cat can’t jump that? Fred can jump close to 5 foot flat footed with no bounce and he’s a giant Norwegian forest cat my best friends cat is a tiny beautiful little thing and she can do 6 foot without even battting an eyelash.

As I understand it, cats either learn to jump during an early developmental window, or they don’t ever really learn. For example, rescue cats that spend that age in a shelter may not learn to jump. We have a non-jumper now, but previously had a cat that no baby gate could contain (and no way she was fitting through the bars!)
I hope these folks bought that gate for a baby or a dog.
