@pixelfed It's getting better and better!

Another suggestion is that on desktop, the main timeline is too stretched out. I think you can condense things and have some sides at the left and right, kind of like the main timeline in Mastodon.

The big empty spaces look a bit off.

I have attached a mock up I made where I condensed the timeline and added empty white sidebars.
It would also condense the black bars on the images.
