Gregory's Server@lowqualityfacts honestly, the fact that journalists and the bunch of people who just didn’t want to give it a chance so they went back to Twitter ready to make Content™ about their experience tried to make themselves sound clever by describing Mastodon as so complicated almost scared me off. It’s so strange! Why do that! 👀

I’m convinced it’s a literal campaign to deter people. I almost bought it too, but then some helpful soul on the birdsite posted a YouTube video explaining how to sign up and I watched it and was like- wait… there’s literally just one extra step of choosing an instance… duh… 😅
(I am NOT in any way tech savvy.)
