We have several photo sharing features in development, and have implemented new settings that allow users to disable features like groups, stories and text-only posts.

(I don't mean to sound robotic, we really do care and want to do what we can to make our community happy) @pixelfed I think PixelFed should focus on providing a good UI for managing photos and stories. To publish text alone I already have mastodon or another federated network. But of course, this is just my opinion :) @t3rr0rz0n3 Agreed! We don't plan on supporting text-only post creation, and are considering removing the opt-in setting that includes text-only posts in your home timeline. (Keep in mind, we will still support text-only group posts, but those will never appear in your timelines!)  @pixelfed @t3rr0rz0n3 i actually dont mind pixelfed becoming more facebook like. There isn't a good facebook alt. Frendica ui is terrible 😰 |
