Gregory's Server@pixelfed I think PixelFed should focus on providing a good UI for managing photos and stories. To publish text alone I already have mastodon or another federated network. But of course, this is just my opinion :)

We don't plan on supporting text-only post creation, and are considering removing the opt-in setting that includes text-only posts in your home timeline.
(Keep in mind, we will still support text-only group posts, but those will never appear in your timelines!)
