@renwillis @HopelessDemigod I guess I just didnβt like the attitude or behavior of people on twitter, I felt more at home here. I get where it coming from tho @mcalel @HopelessDemigod Me too. But Twitter felt like this once too. Scale is the enemy of social networks, but Iβm hopeful that a federation of thousands of βtwittersβ is hopefully less shittification inducing than the shitshow most social networks become. |
@mcalel @HopelessDemigod It is jarring to go from a busy feed curated over years to over a decade to justβ¦. Nothing. It takes some work to find people to follow, going down rabbit holes of good boosts to find more. It wasnβt until I really got a great group of people to follow that things started feeling like a home here. You know? I think a lot of people just donβt want to put in that work again. - let alone start from scratch on their own followers.
