It takes some work to find people to follow, going down rabbit holes of good boosts to find more. It wasn’t until I really got a great group of people to follow that things started feeling like a home here. You know? I think a lot of people just don’t want to put in that work again. - let alone start from scratch on their own followers.

 @mcalel @HopelessDemigod Me too. But Twitter felt like this once too. Scale is the enemy of social networks, but I’m hopeful that a federation of thousands of “twitters” is hopefully less shittification inducing than the shitshow most social networks become. |
