Folks have to understand that rules lie in the hands of a server- moderator, and that's it. The great thing about the #Fediverse is that: if you can't find a server and moderator combo that works for you, simply setup your own server with your own rules ๐ 20 comments

Do you just type those words before you post something ๐ค @JasperJenkins @kidehen @simon Alt text is describing the picture for those who cannot see well but use the forum. I struggle when it comes to describing my own crochet items... it never reads well. Now I understand ๐ @kidehen @simon I wouldn't call it simple, and I don't think it's in everyone's reach in terms of time and money. Obviously it's an improvement over having no realistic alternatives at all. But it doesn't get us out of our responsibility to have expectations for the instances we're on. Even if the misbehavior doesn't impact us personally. In this case though, yeah, what's with going after people just for having economic lives, that's definitely punching down instead of up. |
