Gregory's Server@augieray If drag queens, and minorities started open carrying in states where it is allowed and concealed carrying in states where it's allowed, then maybe we might see some gun reform. Remember in 1966, the Black Panther Party in California was openly carrying M-1s and Ronald Reagan freaked out and stricter gun laws were passed immediately there. Make history repeat itself.

@Gumption_Trap @Alchemist_Final @augieray Thank you! What we need is free mental health care, not stricter gun laws. Without a person to pull the trigger, a gun is nothing more than a paper weight. Take away the guns and they will just use something else to kill with. Although this only goes to 2020, this shows the skyrocketting amount of guns available and demonstrates the rise in shootings. More guns = more possibility of shootings = more actual shootings regardless of mental health. However, they have both mandatory military service (for able bodied men) AND extremely high gun control. Unless you provide high quality information to back up this "mental health" argument I'm gonna assume you're talking out the side of your neck and villifying yet another maligned minority. Why is the mental health idea so hard to grasp? The first thing people go to when this sort of thing happens is gun control, but why did they shoot people? Something caused them to snap. Maybe they were bullied, maybe they have anger management issues, maybe it's abuse. Sure, you can tighten the gun laws, but that won't fix the reason they snapped and killed people in the first place. when it take 2 years to get an appointment, how can we help the ones who are seeking it?
