This one is the XpPen 24 Pro, I reviewed it here https://www.davidrevoy.com/article842/review-xp-pen-artist-24-pro-on-linux if you are curious of the type of limitations and workaround this type of device needs on Linux.  @davidrevoy @alienghic This is amazing and quite affordable considering the power this display can provide for an artist. Fedora KDE (the spin I'm using) is a bit too aggressive on pushing last update to the user. Not like Arch/Manjaro, but not that far. Especially about KDE/Plasma/Qt packages, a bit in the same vein like KDE Neon. So, I can't tell I had only a bright time on it. Still, I appreciate it more than Kubuntu. Not super fan of how simple things takes many steps: like getting a simple Samba network at home, a localhost working quickly to run a PHP local website dev. 1/2 @saveriobran 2/2 but it is the 'less worst' I found right now in the distro landscape, and I'm on it for a year now. And I love it that your breathing lively and friendly and happy and allaround great illustrations are more and more shaping how Free Software looks! I already liked how Battle for Wesnoth broke bad clichés and created characters who still show their personality years later, but you’re bringing that on a new level. Also, I'm currently running Manjaro KDE after leaving RHEL 9 w/ GNOME and I'm preferring it more for the time being. KDE has really changed since I last used it. @lila_bliblu Alors, c'est complikay 😉 @lila_bliblu 2/2 Ce que je test en ce moment, c'est la tablette écran cloné sur un écran externe (au dessus de mon clavier). Comme ça j'utilise un coup en regardant l'écran, un autre coup en regardant le moniteur. J'essaie en permanance d'allier le meilleur des deux mondes, mais c'est dur.... 😆

@Rockerz @lila_bliblu Je suis bien tenté pour entrer en mode full menuisier pour faire une trappe escamotable dans un gros trou dans le bureau pour enfoncer la tablette écran à plat quand ça me chante. Mais la flemme plus la peur de ruiner mon plateau de bureau me retiennent. Vivement les tablettes écrans aussi fine que des tablettes sans écrans. Ici ma Wacom a pas tant de reflets mais je commence à lorgner sur un iPad (principalement pour pouvoir bouger vu le poids de la Wacom 22) et je suis très indécise concernant les reflets effectivement. Vos retours sont précieux merci. :) C'est aussi mon souci, j'aimerais éviter Apple mais quand j'ai vu les prix chez Wacom c'était encore plus cher et je sais pas où trouver des reviews pour des tablettes correctes (comprendre tablette + ordi, pour m'éviter de changer mon laptop qui va probablement bientôt mourir). @lila_bliblu @Rockerz Oui, Apple à le quasi monopole du painting mobile depuis 2012, le fait bien, et peu d'effort son fait chez les concurrents (j'ai été très déçu avec un Microsoft Surface Pro 3, mon premier test). Ca m'a pris des soirées pour étudier le truc que j'ai là et c'est loin d'être parfait même si je l'aime bien bien. |
