Turn off VoLTE and VoWiFi, and remove the SIM from your device.

This isn’t security advice - it just means people can’t ring and bother you.

@neil @mwl I have some solid mobile phone security advice

buy a bucket and quick set concrete

turn the phone off

mix concrete as the bag directs

fill bucket half way

place phone in bucket

finish filling bucket

store and let set

I’ll do you one better: turn it off, then throw it off the highest building available to you into the deepest body of water available. newer models may survive this, so humans phone hunters will prefer to be ready to jump into the water should they need to kill it with their bare hands. in the next seven hundred toots I will

@fuomag9 @neil Carriers still charge you even if you don't use their precious airwaves.

@spodlife @neil I pay 8 euro/month for 150GB in 5G and unlimited calls so it's not like I can complain about that :D
