Little Rascal

@kkarhan @nathan im currently looking for options, but isnt it rather big? To me it seems like thats ultimately what killed mastodon.lol, because its size lead to people feeling far to alienated and quickly jumping to statements they might not have put that way in a smaller group.

DELETED

@Little_Rascal @kkarhan @nathan I'd like to know what killed this instance but I'm not sure where to even start

Coyoty

@Little_Rascal @kkarhan @nathan You may be thinking of mastodon.social. Mstdn.social seems a nice size and well-managed. I've seen very few trolls on it.

Brawli

@coyoty @Little_Rascal @kkarhan @nathan
The team that runs mstdn.social also runs masto.ai and mstdn.coffee?( @stux ) I'd check the exact server name for the last one. But they are amazing hosts. I've had nothing but a good time being with this group.

Melroy van den Berg

@jorsh @coyoty @Little_Rascal @kkarhan @nathan I can call it whatever you want. I just called it Melroy's Mastodon server. I dunno. Melroy's place also sounds good.

Duco

@kkarhan @nathan I would recommend smaller instances that fit your interests as the local timeline will be more interesting for you. 200k users on a general purpose instances will have a lot of noise there.
